Causes of Candida Albicans

Causes which can encourage spread of yeast (Candida):

• Antibiotics (factory-farmed food or medication)
• Contraceptive pill (worst when progesterone levels high)
• Cortisone
• Diabetes
• Drug tetracycline (acne treatment)
• Hormonal changes: pregnancy, menopause or the menarche
• Immune system weakness - influences: stress, nutritional inadequacy, pollution, immune suppressing sedatives
• Steroids (factory-farmed meat and poultry or medication)
• Stress
• Sugar and sugar-rich foods
• Toxic metals eg. mercury (fillings)
